About Me

I’ve been a professional School Counselor since 2018 for Beaumont Unified School District. Prior to being employed with Beaumont USD, I worked as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist for districts and non-profit organizations since 2008.

I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships with staff, administration, and parents, and ensuring that all students receive the best in support.

Our vision for students is based on the following beliefs:

  • All students can learn and grow academically, socially, and emotionally in order to become high school graduates and progressive members of our society..

  • All students have unique strengths.

  • We must work to actively engage children, families, and community members, and fully develop them as partners in the educational experience.

  • Curriculum and instructional techniques must be differentiated to meet the needs of all students while also providing a common curriculum to all students.

  • All students have the right to participate in a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate school counseling program delivered by a credentialed school counselor.
